LEIPSIC, OH (WLIO) — Leipsic will look to keep its postseason run alive Friday when the Vikings face South Webster in the Division 7 state semifinal.
Leipsic enters the Final Four with a 17-9 record and a six-game winning streak after rallying for a walk-off victory over Montpelier in the regional championship game. Awaiting the Vikings is a 21-10 South Webster squad, with first pitch set for 1 p.m. at Thurman Munson Memorial Stadium in Canton.
Head coach Darren Henry said the team's success has come from a complete lineup, with contributions from every spot in the batting order fueling Leipsic's run to the state tournament.
