Five West Central Ohio players earn first-team All-Ohio softball honors

LIMA (WLIO) — The Ohio Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association has announced its All-Ohio teams, with 16 West Central Ohio players earning recognition.
Findlay's Addelyn Sprang was named a Division I First Team All-Ohio selection. In Division 6, Parkway's Bryn Schoenleben, Hicksville's Kennedy Adams and Lincolnview's Ila Hughes all earned first-team honors. Ayersville's Kendra Waldron was also named a Division 7 First Team All-Ohio selection.
Celina's Maddie Allen received honorable mention recognition in Division 3, while Elmwood's Addi Hoffman was named second team in Division 5. Lincolnview's Lainey Spear was among seven additional Division 6 players from the area recognized on the second team or honorable mention lists.
In total, 16 local softball players earned All-Ohio honors from the Ohio Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association.
