Wapakoneta baseball seniors make college commitments official after home matchup

WAPAKONETA (WLIO) — Following Monday’s matchup against Coldwater, four Wapakoneta baseball seniors officially signed their letters of intent to continue their careers at the collegiate level.
Outfielder Cohl Springer signed with Bluffton University.
Infielder and pitcher Drew Bailey made his commitment official with Otterbein University.
Pitcher and first baseman Joel Moore will continue his career at Wright State Lake Campus.
Catcher Griffin Mericle signed with Ohio Northern University.
The quartet celebrated the milestone alongside teammates, family and coaches, with Redskins head coach Jason Brandt reflecting on the group shortly after the ceremony.
