LIMA (WLIO) — Bluffton High School doubles partners Grady Coonfare and Isaiah Kohli wrapped up a standout postseason run at the Ohio High School Athletic Association state tennis tournament as state quarterfinalists.

The Pirate duo opened tournament play with a straight-set victory over Mason Wolfe and Zach Speas of Circleville Logan Elm, winning 6-4, 6-2 to advance into the quarterfinal round.

In the quarterfinals, Bluffton ran into a tough challenge from Pepper Pike Orange, falling in straight sets 6-1, 6-2.

Despite the loss, Coonfare and Kohli closed out an impressive season with a trip to the state quarterfinals.
