KENTON (WLIO) — Bath kept its perfect run in Western Buckeye League play intact with a 12-1 win over Kenton in a battle of the Wildcats.
Bath struck early in the first inning when Richard Rope delivered a two-run single to left field, scoring Daniel Cole and Eli Steed.
Karson Green set the tone on the mound for Bath, striking out seven over five innings while allowing just two hits.
The Wildcats added to their lead with Logan Markley scoring on a wild pitch, and another wild pitch later brought home Cole as Bath continued to capitalize.
Kenton showed some defense with Xavier Gammon recording a force out at home, but Bath remained in control throughout to secure the win.
