MARION, Ohio (WLIO) — Liberty-Benton boys soccer faced a familiar postseason foe Friday night, taking on Worthington Christian in a rematch of last year’s Division IV regional title match.

The Eagles kept it tight early — sophomore goalkeeper Kooper Leatherman came up with a big save in traffic off a first-half throw-in to keep things scoreless.

In the second half, Worthington Christian finally broke through off another throw-in to take a 1-0 lead.
Leatherman continued to battle in goal with several more stops, but the Warriors' attack proved too strong down the stretch.

Liberty-Benton falls 4–0, wrapping up the season at 18-2-2 and finishing as regional runner-up for the second straight year.
