OTTOVILLE — St. Henry moved on in the tournament with a straight-set sweep over Marion Local on Tuesday night.
The Redskins took control early in the first set as Addy Homan set up Mylee Kramer for several key kills, helping St. Henry build a 17-12 lead. In the second set, Marion Local showed fight, with Baylie Evers recording a block to close the gap to one point.
But St. Henry stayed in rhythm. Freshman Kylie Bollenbacher delivered a powerful kill in the third set to push the Redskins ahead, and Marion Local couldn’t recover.
St. Henry sealed the sweep, winning three sets to none, and will face Columbus Grove in the next round Thursday at Ottoville.
