LIMA (WLIO) — Bath picked up its first win of the season in emphatic fashion, blanking Lima Central Catholic 13-0 in five innings at Faurot Park.
The Wildcats broke it open in the second when Mara Davis ripped a bases-clearing triple to left field. Tarynn Vorhes followed with a two-run single as Bath stretched the lead to seven.
Vorhes also handled the circle, striking out six over four scoreless innings. Lima Central Catholic put runners on early, but Bath kept the Thunderbirds off the board throughout.
