Lima Senior rolls past Rogers 48-6 in Toledo City League matchup

TOLEDO — Lima Senior stayed dominant in Toledo City League play with a 48-6 win over Rogers on Friday night.
The Spartans broke the game open in the second quarter when Ja’Naius Hall found Amontrae Davis in stride for a 6-yard touchdown, extending the lead to 20-0. Later, Hall and Davis connected again for another score, pushing Lima Senior ahead 27-0.
Rogers finally got on the board with a short touchdown run by Isiah Eskridge, but the Spartans continued to dominate, adding another score before halftime to lead 33-6.
Lima Senior would score again in the second half to secure a 48-6 blowout victory, remaining undefeated in city league action.
