LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) – In a clash of unbeatens, Lima Central Catholic stayed perfect on the season with a 31-21 victory over Bluffton Friday night.
The Thunderbirds entered the fourth quarter up 17-13 and extended their lead when junior quarterback Brady Parker kept it himself for an eight-yard touchdown run. Bluffton answered back as Tayte Giesige connected with Kain Wright for a touchdown, and then found Dylan Cherry on the two-point conversion to make it 24-21.
But Parker delivered again for LCC, leading a key drive deep into Pirate territory before powering in from two yards out to seal the win.
With the victory, LCC improves to 6-0 on the season, while Bluffton falls to 5-1.
