Cameron Elwer adds OHSBCA Player of the Year to historic resume after leading DSJ to title

DELPHOS (WLIO) — Delphos St. John’s senior Cameron Elwer has been named the Ohio High School Basketball Coaches Association Player of the Year.
Elwer led the Blue Jays to a perfect 29-0 season and their first state championship since 2002. The Furman commit averaged 28.6 points, 6.5 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game during his senior campaign.
The honor adds to an already decorated career for Elwer, who capped his time at St. John’s with a Division VII state title.
