Tuesday, the group donated $250 to the Marimor Legacy Foundation to help with the building cost of the project. But the students have always been supporters of the project, even coming out to help assemble the playground next to Marimor School, which was dedicated in the fall of last year. Throughout the school year, they have been finding ways to raise money to help all Allen County kids have a special place to have fun.

A walk in Faurot Park helped raise awareness on down syndrome. The 10th annual buddy walk was held at Faurot Park sponsored by the Down Syndrome Association of Western Ohio.

Learning and understanding the differences in people is how inclusion is achieved and the "Buddy Walk" is just one way to help educate and celebrate those with down syndrome. This Saturday, the Down Syndrome Association of Western Ohio invites everyone to Faurot Park for a day full of fun to get to know one another. There will be a walk, games, and raffles. Organizers say the "Buddy Walk" has made a difference.

Lima Senior DECA students are back again this year with their project to support Down syndrome.
