In Wapakoneta, ODOT has a safety improvement project planned for the I-75/U.S. 33 interchange.
ODOT’s proposal is to construct a single-lane roundabout from northbound 75 to Route 33. The goal of the project is to address high crash rates.
Meanwhile, the city of St. Marys is looking to fully reconstruct Spring Street, from Main Street to the St. Marys River Bridge. The project would add reverse angle parking by converting Front Street, between Spring and South Street, to southbound only with the goal of improving access in the business district.
ODOT is currently seeking public comments for these two projects, with both looking to begin construction in the spring of 2027.
