LIMA, Ohio (WLIO) - 4th District Congressman Jim Jordan was in Lima on Wednesday visiting Warriors Way.
The non-profit recreational therapy organization provides free services to veterans, first responders, and kids battling mental health issues by offering blacksmithing, knife making, and archery classes.
Jordan learned the importance and need for creating safe places and organizations to help those who serve.

"There's real concern there - we hear about the number of number of suicides, it's way too high," said Jordan. "Research seems to indicate that these type of programs, where you get people involved right away, using their hands, working, doing something after they come out of the military, maybe before they've transitioned into some other line of work, these things are good. That's why we came out and took a few minutes to see it."
Jordan adds that serving our men and women in uniform remains a top priority for the country.
