LIMA, OHIO (WLIO) — A Lima home was severely damaged by a two-alarm fire Tuesday morning.

The Lima Fire Department was called to1113 Saint Johns Ave. just before 5:30 a.m. Flames and smoke broke through the rear of the home. Fire officials said the home was vacant. Off-duty firefighters, along with a truck and manpower from Shawnee Township Fire Department, were called to help battle the blaze.

There were no injuries, and the cause of the fire is under investigation. Damage is estimated at just over $22,000.
